We promise you an exciting, theatrical week full of song, dance and drama.

This year's Summer Camp title for Wiltshire is: Treacherous Tales & Famous Pirates

From Long John Silver, Captain Hook and Jack Sparrow to Blackbeard and Sir Francis Drake, the real life stories and embellished tales of famous pirates of Europe and the Caribbean have long inspired storytellers and film makers alike with tales of adventure, looting and murder. Less known about though, were two daring female pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read who dressed and acted alongside their male counterparts in the Golden Age of Piracy.  We’ll explore and weave together our very own tales of smuggling and piracy, old and new, delve into forgotten stories of feisty female buccaneers and marauding pirates. Creating a brand new musical score, and exciting choreography, we’ll create a lively musical tale of our very own to have you shaking in your boots, quivering in your seats and sword fighting in the aisles!

“It gave me the confidence to believe in myself and my abilities” Annabel, 12, Kent

"I don't know if anything will ever be as amazing as my time with YMT! Thank you to everyone - cast, crew and chaperones." Kane, 12, Plymouth

"YMT produces friends from different backgrounds and cultures. It bridges gaps between people who might never cross paths." Felix, 16, Birmingham
