A Victorian Who-Done-it! A Sherlockian adventure on the trail of some violent Victorians.
From the famous Eliza Grimwood case, that inspired Nancy’s famous murder in Oliver Twist, through to some of Sherlock’s best loved cases, our interlocking theatrical murder mystery excursion will create a Victorian melodrama to die for! In In the fast-growing cities of Industrialised Britain, the Victorians’ fear of crime, and its perpetrators grew exponentially and with it their fascination with it in their literature, comics and newspapers. And with the Police Detectives assigned to solve these crimes. Exploring a cornucopia of eccentric and colourful characters from the gutter, to the kitchen parlours, through the music hall taverns of the working class, to the drawing rooms and concert halls of the upper classes. Just who did it? The crazed chimney sweep, the malicious maid, the dastardly dentist or the jealous lover? And how will our detectives uncover the truth and restore peace and calm?
With a modern musical take on a loved genre, who knows where this murder mystery will take us, but it will be fun, exciting and a summer course to die for!
