Jo Meredith

Jo Meredith is a rising choreographer working across dance, theatre and opera, described as ‘One to Watch’  by Luke Jennings of The Observer. She has a track record of producing challenging work for the Royal Opera House, English National Opera, and Longborough Festival. Her own choreographic work interweaves classical music with contemporary text and movement and, wherever possible, she works with live musicians.

As a movement director Jo works in both theatre and opera and was awarded the Bonnie Bird Choreographer to Choreographer Award in 2014, which allowed her to observe Leah Hausman and Terry Gilliam directing Benvenuto Cellini at the English National Opera.
